Bollywood actress - Pooja Bedi

Pooja Bedi - bollywood
Pooja Bedi was born on May 11th, 1971 and is the daughter of the late Protima and Kabir Bedi. She is a former Bollywood actress and currently a television talk show host. She is best remembered for the Kama Sutra condom campaign which she endorsed. A popular person, she was considered the poster girl for the new breed of liberated and independent women emerging in India. She made her film Pro Wrestling Debut with Jag Mundhra's 1991 film Vishkanya. She went on act in her most popular film to date, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander (1992) with Aamir Khan. After appearances in a few more films such as Lootere (1993) and Aatank Hi Aatank (1995) she quit acting. She quit acting after her marriage to Farhan Ebrahim.

In 1997 her brother Siddharth tragically commited suicide at the age of 26. The following year there was another tragedy for her family when her mother Protima was killed in a landslide while on a pilgrimage in the Himalayas.

Currently she is hosting a Celebrity talk show formerly titled Not just Page 3 and now known as Just Pooja. It is being telecast on the channel, zOOm. She is currently also a saturday columnist with the Times of India newspaper and has been a columnist for Midday newspaper as well as written articles for numerous publications like L'officiel, Femina and The Week. After 10 years since she last appeared in a film, she had a brief appearance in the 2005 film Ek Ajnabee but her scenes was deleted during the editing process.

She is mother of two children, Aalia,( born 28th of November 1997) and Omar (born 19th February 2000). She is also currently brand ambassador to Kaya Skin Clinic and the Country Club (CCIL INDIA)
