Music launch of Bhool Bhulaiyaa
What stood out at this filmi do (besides the sprinkling of stars and Vidya Balan’s new chic haircut) was the venue. What better place to celebrate the music of an upcoming Bollywood flick based on a friendly ghost than in Mumbai’s very own House of Horrors.
Satish Reddy and Tanaaz Irani, along with Bhushan Kumar played hosts to the scariest hilt, and the night was spooked out, to say the least.
Actress Vidya Balan looked trim and graceful (three cheers to her new short haircut). Wearing a dazzling smile and a twinkle in her eye, the actress was heard recounting her experiences of the “haunted haveli” in Rajasthan, where some parts of the movie were shot.
When asked if co-star in the movie Akshay Kumar (he wasn’t present, but huge posters of him more than made up for his absence) played any pranks on her this time, she smiled and said, “Not really, but this time, I have unleashed the bhoot on him, in the film that is!”
Shiney Ahuja also wore a wide smile on his face, and seemed relaxed and cheerful as he mingled with the guests and posed for the cameras. Guess the controversies are all behind you now, Shiney. “While shooting, I was waiting to meet the ghosts. In fact, I’m still on the lookout for them,” he laughed.
Other guests present included Rajpal Yadav, who made a quick come-quick go appearance (but he bonded big time with Shiney and Kishan Kumar — the three had a blast together), Chitrita Mitra, lyricist Sameer who found company in music composer Pritam and Manoj Joshi.
