Imagine Bollywood bombshell Mallika Sherawat with that trademark stamp of encircled TM.
That has actually become a reality as far as Mallika’s name is concerned. Yes, the hot babe is in the process of acquiring the unique distinction of being the first Bollywood actress to get her name trademarked.
In layman’s language it means that her name cannot henceforth be used for commercial or publicity purposes. For example, if someone runs a beauty salon named Mallika Sherawat Beauty Parlour, or a shop named Mallika Sherawat Undergarments, the person might soon receive a legal notice from the actress’s lawyer for infringement of copyright.
