Alia Bhatt was born on March 15th, 1993 in Mumbai, India.
She is a member of the Bhatt family, which is one of the families close to royalty in India cinema.
Her father Mahesh Bhatt, is a film director, producer and screenwriter and her mother Soni Razdan is an actress and film director.
That's not counting all the aunts, uncles and cousins like Pooja Bhatt and Udita Goswami.

Alia made her acting debut in the 1999 Bollywood thriller, Sangharsh.
She has gone on to appear in twelve films and rack up a ton of awards and nominations.
