Shilpa Shetty's debut musical to hit Berlin on September 29

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's debut musical, Miss Bollywood, will hit Berlin on September 29, bringing the European audience closer to the grandeur, opulence and true essence of the world's largest film industry.

"I am very excited and happy that I have been given this opportunity," a beaming Shilpa Shetty, winner of the Celebrity Big Brother show here earlier this year told PTI today.

"I am extremely proud of doing this musical. Whatever I do, I should be able to justify and hope people enjoy it," she said.

The 32-year-old Mangalore-born Shilpa Shetty, who has acted in over 50 films including box office hits like Baazigar, Main Khiladi Tu Anari and Dhadkan, said so far all musicals connected with Bollywood including Bombay Dreams figured actors from outside Bollywood and "this is the first time a Bollywood actress performs in a Bollywood musical that caters to international audience."
