Aishwarya Rai-Bachan is making the news a lot here lately.
First, Aishwarya has turned down a very lucrative deal from L'Oreal to star in their L'Oreal Fairness Cream Ads.
Another Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is taking the ads.

Second, Deepika Padukone has replaced Aishwarya in Kalpana Lazmi’s film ‘Singhasan’.
This isn't the first time this has happened however. She got replaced by Katrina Kaif in the movie Nakshatra.

As I mentioned before, Aishwarya will star with Steve Martin in the Pink Panther 2 in 2009. She will play Sonia Solandres, a criminology expert.
She will also star with Abhishek Bachchan in the Hindi language film Raavan, a present day version of the Indian epic Ramayana. Aishwarya will play a contemporary Sita.
Aishwarya will star with Vikram in the movie Ashokavanam, this movie will be a Tamil language version of Raavan shot at the same time. Aishwarya will play the same character in both movies.
