Urmila Matondkar was born on February 4th, 1974 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
She made her acting debut at the age of seven in the 1981 film, Kalyug.
Urmila has gone on to appear in over sixty Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films.
She has also been nominated for, and won many Filmfare Awards, Star Screen Awards and Zee Cine Awards among others.
In 2012 she appeared in Hridaynath (in an Item number) and did a voice in the animated Hindi feature film Delhi Safari.
