Despite good reviews from critics, Rani Mukherjee's last film "Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic" didnt do well at the box office.
But this year she has three movies coming out.

She has a cameo as herself in "Luck by Chance", Zoya Akhtar's movie about an actor who goes in Mumbai to become a movie star.

In "Hadippa", she co-stars with Shahid Kapoor, Rakhi Sawant and Sherlyn Chopra.

And she will doing some voice acting in the animated film "Koochie Koochie Hota Hain".
The animated feature will be produuced by Karan Johar, and also stars Kajol and Sanjay Dutt.
It is an animated remake of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

06 Aug 2007 (Sawf News) - Since her appearance on Koffee with Karan, Rakhi is fast shedding her image of a crass silicone propped item girl and emerging as a main stream Bollywood actress.

The 29 year old daughter of a Mumbai policeman, whose real name is Neeru Sawant has bagged an item number in Rakesh Roshan's comedy thriller Krazy 4.

Rakhi may lack sophistication but not humility. She knew whom to thank when she bagged the role.

"The first person I informed was Karan Johar. I thanked him for inviting me on his show. My career has taken an upward swing after featuring on Koffee with Karan."

Rakesh Roshan confirmed he had signed up Rakhi telling Mid Day, "Rakhi is performing a song in the film."

The communication of Mint-O Fresh has been about breath freshness enabling the protagonist to win over his girl. The tagline "Jab Laila ko karna tha impress to Majnu ne khayi Mint-O Fresh" has stood the test of times and is still widely known and remembered.

Rakhi Sawant is an Indian Bollywood actress.Her real name is Neeru Sawant and she is popular as an item girl.

Rakhi Sawant (name variously appearing as Raakhi Sawant, or Raakhi Savant or Rakhi Savant) was born to a Marathi Hindu family in Mumbai in 1970. Her father is an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) with the Mumbai Police. She has a brother, Rakesh and a sister, Jaya. Rakhi studied in Goklibai School, Vile Parle and later studied Arts at Mithibai College

Apart from her appearance on the silver screen, Sawant has also appeared in a number of music videos, most notably for the remix number Pardesiya. In 2006, she was a cast member of reality show Bigg Boss, the Indian version of Big Brother. She was voted off the show by fellow cast members after a month, but has been brought back and was one of the final 4 participants.

Sawant has attracted a great deal of attention by appearing on stage and screen in what some consider 'revealing' outfits. While this might have increased her popularity, it has caused her to face flak from many quarters. In May 2006, she was booked for obscenity by the Kolhapur Police, after a stage show in the city. She was let off with a warning. A month later, she was again in the news when she filed a molestation case against pop singer Mika, younger brother of Daler Mehndi, who forcibly kissed her at his birthday party, where she was a guest. She is currently making waves in Big Boss, a Sony television show.
