I haven’t done a top ten Bollywood actresses here in awhile, and I thought I'd do one, because when I looked for who was searched for the most on this blog, I was really shocked.
I expected Katrina Kaif, Kajol, Priyanka Chopra, Madhuri Dixit at the top, but that wasn't the case.

So here are the top ten most searched for Bollywood women on this blog recently....

1. Kiran Rathod
Yes coming in at number one was a lady that was a total surprise to me, Kiran Rathod.
This Bollywood and Kollywood actress is a lot more popular than I thought.

2. Lara Dutta
Indian actress, UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador and former Miss Universe 2000, Lara Dutta came in at number two.

3. Zeenat Aman
Yes, yesteryear star Zeenat Aman came in at three, showing tradition is alive and well in Bollywood.

4. Riya Sen
Indian film actress and model Riya Sen came in at number four.

5. Celina Jaitley
Indian actress and the 2001 Femina Miss India Universe winner, Celina Jaitley came in at number five.

6. Sayali Bhagat
Indian actress and 2004 Femina Miss India Sayali Bhagat came in at number six.

7. Priyanka Chopra
Coming in at number seven is a lady I expected to see much further up the list, Indian actress and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra.
8. Lisa Ray
The number eight lady on the list is a woman that recently beat cancer, and is going back to acting, Lisa Ray.

9. Tanushree Dutta
Another former Femina Miss India winner (2004), Tanushree Dutta comes in at number nine.
10. Mandakini
And finally, rounding out the top ten is a lady who is not actively acting anymore (but is evidently still popular), Mandakini.

Lara Dutta Updates

It looks like Lara Dutta and Dino Morea's relationship is back on again.
The pair has been seen walking their dogs at at Bandra sea face, and attending the screening of Vin Diesel’s movie ‘Fast and Furious 4’.
A few weeks backs, the tabloids said that Lara was tired of Dino’s womanizing and his renewed closeness to ex girlfriend Nandita Mahtani and had called off the relationship.
But now reports say that Dino is planning to move into Lara’s house.

And Lara may be having a hard time with her Bollywood movie "Blue".
Reports say that Laura feels threatened over the beautiful Katrina Kaif's special appearance in the film.
Who can blame her?
Rumors say that Katrina's role in the movie is expanding and that bothers Lara.
"Blue" also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Zayed Khan.
Kylie Minogue will sing two songs along with Sonu Nigam for the movie soundtrack.

Lara Dutta is in the news lately for her break-up with her live-in boyfriend Kelly Dorje.

Despite intensive efforts to make her drop her guard, she does not discuss her private life. However, she is not sulking. Read what transpired when TWF correspondent Vickey Lalwani cornered her for a one-on-one chat:

What are you playing in Partner, which releaseed last Friday?
I am playing a snoopy, nosey journalist who is always hunting for scoops, hanging on window sills and chased down the streets. Often, she is in trouble, But there’s a hero in her life Salman who keeps landing up wherever she finds herself in a hot soup.

This role must have helped you to understand a journalist’s job?
I have always understood a journalist’s job. I understand that you guys are just doing your job in a competitive industry.

So, how are you spending your time other than having work meetings?
I am planning to go to Bangalore to my parents for few days.

Lara Dutta - Bollywood Actress

Lara Dutta, (born April 16th, 1978) is an Indian actress, UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador and former Miss Universe (2000).
Dutta was born in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh to father Wing Commander L.K. Dutta (retired) and mother Jennifer Dutta. Her family moved to Bangalore in 1981 where she completed high school. Her sister serves in the Indian Airforce. Lara graduated in economics with a minor in communications from Bombay University. She was crowned Miss Universe in 2000 which led to her appointment as a UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador in 2001.

Dutta is dating a Calcutta-based model named Kelly Dorji.
She has been romantically liked to the Indian model-turned actor John Abraham.

She made her film debut in 2003 with the film Andaaz which was a box office success and won her a Filmfare Best Female Debut Award. She then appeared in a number of films some of which flopped and some were successful. Her box office hits include Masti (2004), Kaal (2005),No Entry (2005) and Dosti: Friends Forever (2005).

According to the Miss India-Universe site, Lara Dutta states that she's ethnically Tamil/Punjabi/Nordic.
