Australia's top brass clears Bollywood actress of Afghan sex romp

SYDNEY (AFP) — Australia's military chief on Wednesday cleared entertainer Tania Zaetta of allegations she had sex with soldiers in war-torn Afghanistan and said he would personally apologize to her.

Zaetta, who has a budding Bollywood career, was named in a defense briefing note as having slept with elite special forces soldiers while on a concert tour at a military base in the Taliban stronghold of Uruzgan in April.

Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston told a parliamentary committee in Canberra the claim was baseless.

An old acquaintance of actress Sonal Chauhan slapped her and misbehaved with her at Mumbai’s domestic airport on Tuesday.

Sonal, who recently made her Bollywood debut in Jannat , was at the Jet Airways counter to collect her boarding pass when 24-yr-old Sahil Zaroo, who has known her for a few years, approached her and got into an argument with her.
