The Hottest Bollywood Women on the Blog Last Month

Well without a doubt the most loved lady here last month was Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu.
She was well ahead of everyone else.
The only lady that even came close to challenging her for the number one spot was Indian actress Deepika Padukone.
Coming in at number three was Ayesha Takia, and from what I have seen, it seems like there are still a lot of fans out there of her first film, "Taarzan: The Wonder Car".
The gorgeous Amrita Arora came in at fourth place.
Beautiful Parineeti Chopra came in at fifth place.
Bollywood actress and wife of Team India cricketer Harbhajan Singh, Geeta Basra, came in at sixth place.
Telugu, Tamil and Bollywood film actress Tamannaah was seventh.
Indian actress and a former model Aarti Chhabria came in at eighth.
"Dirty Politics" star Mallika Sherawat came in at ninth place.
And finally, Iranian born, Norwegian actress Negar Khan rounded out the top ten.

Well if she isn't, she isn't far off.

CNN.com has an article up about the incredible rise of Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone.
I didn't realize her path to stardom was so humble, but in reading this, I think in the future, the life of Deepika might actually make a good film itself.

Besides Mallika, Aishwarya Rai, Preity Zinta, Bipasha Basu, Madhuri Dixit and Ayesha Takia all have Twitter accounts, among others.

Ayesha Takia (born 1986 in Mumbai, India) is an Indian actress.

Ayesha Takia was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra.[citation needed] She comes from a mixed family. Her father is Gujarati, and her mother is half British and half Maharashtrian. She has said in interviews that she grew up speaking English at home and had to learn Hindi and Telugu for her film roles.

According to Ayesha, she has been a model since she was four years old. She appeared in the famous I'm a Complan Boy! I'm a Complan Girl! campaign alongside Shahid Kapoor and also in a music video, Falguni Pathak's Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye, when she was only fifteen. She then appeared in the video, Shake It Daddy, which brought her to the attention of the movie industry, and a few film offers followed.

She signed a contract for Socha Na Tha, then for Taarzan: The Wonder Car. However, delays in making Socha Na Tha meant that Taarzan released first and was therefore her "debut" film.

She won the Filmfare Best Debut Award in 2004 for her performance in Taarzan.

She has appeared in a number of films that have done poorly at the box office. However, she has been highly praised for her work in the 2006 Dor, a smaller budget film in which she plays the role of a young widowed Rajasthani woman living in a traditional joint family.
