Mohit Suri and Udita Goswami are to marry soon !

After Awarapan , 26-year old director Mohit Suri has moved to a plush flat near Dimple theatre in Bandra, with his longtime girlfriend Udita Goswami . They plan to marry soon.

A source says, “Mohit and Udita have been in a serious relationship since Zeher . The relationship has been smooth and they have decided to live together now. Udita has moved in with her dogs. They are planning to tie the knot soon.”

However, when contacted, Udita refuses to admit that she is living with Mohit and is ready to tie the knot. However, Mohit's uncle, Mahesh Bhatt says, “If Mohit and Udita have not moved in yet, I have reasons to believe that they will do that soon. As for marriage, the kind of relationship they have can only progress to marriage.”

Celina Jaitley (born 9 June 1981) is an Indian actress. She was crowned Miss India in 2001. She has appeared in several movies and music videos (including the Bombay Vikings' Zara Nazron Se Kehdo video). She was born to an Afghan mother and a Kashmiri father in Kabul, Afghanistan. However she grew up in different cities and mostly spent her time in Kolkata,India. Her father is an army officer and her mother, Meeta Jaitley is a former beauty queen. She has one brother, who is serving in the Indian army. She has said that when she was young, she wanted to join the army herself, either as a doctor or a pilot.

She was a finalist in the Miss Universe 2001 contest. In addition to her Miss India win, Celina has won the Miss Margo Beautiful skin, Indiatimes Surfer's Choice, and MTV's Most Wanted awards.

Bipasha's brief sojourn in Cannes

Bipasha Basu rues the fact that she couldn’t savor the spirit of Cannes Film Festival because of her very short trip there.

Bipasha was at Cannes along with boyfriend John Abraham for the UTV press conference and luncheon held on May 18 to promote their movie Goal .

Bips arrived at Cannes in the morning, attended the press meet, gave a few brief interviews and flew back to Mumbai in the evening to begin shooting for a movie the next morning.

In such a short and hectic trip Bipasha wasn’t able to see Cannes, nor catch any movie, nor go for shopping or swimming.

It is reported by Indian media sources that three comely girls armed with weapons will thrash the bad guys on the Indian silver screen too.

Producer Yagnesh Shetty has plans to make a slick movie featuring three actresses in the roles of action heroines along the lines of American TV show "Charlie's Angels."

The three actresses pegged are Amrita Arora, Kim Sharma and newcomer Leher- who is from England.

Tanisha's paternal grandfather was a film director and producer who had left a great achievement in the Bombay film industry and was regarded as a stalwart. His wife Satirani Devi, Tanisha's grandmother was the sister of three great film personality Ashok Kumar, Anoop Kumar and Kishore Kumar.

She made her debut with Sssshhh opposite Dino Morea. The film did not do well. Following releases didn't do very well at the box office either. Tanisha's first hit film was Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar, which starred Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan. Recently, she played the female lead character of Nikkita "Nikki" Bakshi in Neal N Nikki, which failed to make an impact at the box office.

Tabu (born Tabassum Hashmi on November 4, 1970 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India) is an award-winning Indian actress who has acted in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and English films. She has won the coveted National Film Award for Best Actress twice. She is best known for her critically acclaimed acting in many films rather than achieving box office success. She is considered as one of the finest and most versatile actresses in the country.

Tabassum "Tabu" Hashmi began her career in the film Hum Naujawan (1985) but came into prominence with her role in Vijaypath (1994) opposite Ajay Devgan for which she received the Filmfare Best Debut Award. This was followed by many films that did not do well as the box office. She had a minor success with Biwi No.1 (1999).

Largely considered to be one of the best actresses working in the Indian film industry, she has won the coveted National Film Award for Best Actress twice - once for Maachis (1996) and most recently for Chandni Bar (2002). Her roles in both were acclaimed and praised by the critics.

She has also won three statuettes in the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Performance category for Virasat (1997), Hu Tu Tu (1999), and Astitva (2000) respectively.

Despite a few exceptions, Tabu is known best for her willingness to play characters in artistic, low-budget films that go on to garner more critical appreciation than they do substantial box office figures such as in Maqbool (2003) or Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities (2004).

She has acted in a number of Telugu movies, many of them very successful, such as Coolie No. 1 and Ninne Pelladatha.

Her biggest hit to date has been the film Fanaa (2006).

She is the niece of Shabana Azmi and the younger sister of actress Farha.

She is the life member of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy Of Film and Television, Noida.

Soundarya (July 17, 1971 - April 17, 2004) was a film actress in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam films. She had a successful career of 12 years as heroine in films until her death in a plane crash near Bangalore. She acted in more than 100 films.

She was born Soumya in Bangalore. Her father Satyanarayana was a producer and director in Kannada films. Soumya acted in her first film while she was at high school. She was offered a role in the film Gandarva (1992) by her father's friend, while she was studying in her first year of MBBS. She discontinued her studies after the film became successful.

She moved onto Telugu films where she achieved popularity and success. She has also acted in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and one Hindi film Sooryavansham opposite Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.

She also produced and acted in a Kannada film Dweepa, with Girish Kasaravalli as director. The film won host of National awards including Swarna Kamal (Golden Lotus) given for best film of the year and the Best Actress award for Soundarya. It also won Karnataka state awards for Best Actress, Best Film and Best Cinematography and was featured in five international film festivals. Soundarya died on April 17, 2004 when the four-seater plane Cessna 180 caught fire immediately after take off. She was on her way to Andhra Pradesh to campaign for Bharatiya Janata Party for the elections. Her brother, Amarnath, a producer of Kannada films, also died in the accident. Her last film was the immensely successful Kannada film, Aaptamitra.

Indian film actress - Shalini

Shalini is a south Indian film actress (Tamil, Malayalam), born 20 November 1980 into a Christian household in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

She started acting at the age of three appearing in the film Ente Mamattikkuttiyammakku for which she won the Kerala State Award for Best Child Artiste. As a child artist, Shalini has completed over 80 films in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu.

Shalini made her debut as a heroine in the Malayalam movie Aniyathi Pravu which was remade in Tamil as Kadhalukku Mariyadhai - a box-office hit. Her best moments came when Mani Ratnam cast her opposite Madhavan in Alaipayuthey. After her marraige to fellow actor Ajith, she left the film industry.

Although her mother tongue is Malayalam, she speaks fluent Tamil as well.

In 2006, Shalini revealed her passion for Badminton and has played in a few state level tournaments.
